Functional Mushrooms with Robert Rogers
Episode SIX is a special interview with Robert Rogers. Robert has been a student of herbal supplements most of his adult life. He is a professional member of the American Herbalist Guild and author of over 50 books on beneficial plants of Western Canada including The Fungal Pharmacy: The Complete Guide to Mushrooms & Lichens of North America and also the book Mushroom essences. Robert has a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany. He has taught herbalism for over 40 years and is an avid fan of our indigenous plants and mushrooms. Robert has had a long career in the alternative health field. He was a clinical herbalist for over 18 years (retired). He works as a consultant to various boards and industries advising growers and creating herbal formulas. He has been a chair of the functional mushroom committee of the North American Mycological Association and on the editorial board of the International Journal of Mushrooms. He is also an occasional writer for Fungi Magazine.
